Tamborine outing Pt 1: Beer + Cheese = Still missing chinese jerky

by Khai

in Food,on a trip,with friends

I’ve been in Brisbane for almost 3 years, and when people started asking me :”wow, that’s long. Where have u been so far?”. I’d reply them the same thing

choi wuk ka sit, soi, oh.. mao hee na hang” (stayed home eat, sleep shit.. handt been to anywhere else)

Or

“home, groceries, uni” (This is when I was still a student)

Recently I’ve joined a trip with a bunch of Penang people, who comes in all sorts of sizes, ages, height, weight etc to pay vineyards and wineries a visit.

And this was our 1st stop.

Went to one of the brewery and cheese factory in Mt Tamborine. It was quite an experience, loved it.. esp the cheese.

I was introducing the cheese, why u staring at her? Cannot lar, she’s not available dy.

Her name’s Yean. And she was the chef whom I mentioned in the previous post.

Those 2 plates of stuff cost a total of AUD$25. I can buy at least 29 packs of my favourite instant noodle with seaweed flavors.

But once in a while can lar (thank you uncle auntie for spending us =D)

Nah, told u she’s not available dy. Haha.
