Five new swine flu cases in Queensland
Five new cases of swine flu have been confirmed in Queensland on Wednesday.
They include a 59-year-old woman from Tasmania who travelled to Brisbane from Hobart via Melbourne.
The others are a 21-year-old man who works with an earlier case, and a Cairns mother in her 20s and her baby boy and three-year-old son from the same family as an earlier case.
Cairns State High School and Ferny Hills State High in Brisbane, which have been closed by swine flu, are due to open on Thursday.
While there have now been 58 confirmed cases of swine flu in Queensland, the health department says patients are only isolated for up to seven days and only about half that number may still be affected.
