Months ago, I was being invited to a friend’s friend birthday whom I only met twice.

And Hog’s Breath is well known for its steaks, but also its serving time and price.

We had to wait hours for the food to be served.

Luckily I had with me few photography enthusiastic companions that nite. So it wasn’t that bored while waiting for the food.

This was the birthday girl with the glamorous smile.

As requested by birthday girl, I ran around snapping her and her friends while waiting (for the food).

That nite was NOT bored at all if you know what I mean.

Gay? That is what I called friendship that constitutes the most powerful bond between them.

This is how close they can be.

Then finally, a platter for 2 came all the way from the kitchen (at last).

And of course, a birthday cake which can’t be forgotten on a birthday occasion.

I had a great time helping out ma friends with making sushi.

The food was not as good looking as it should look like in the sushi bar.

Still, we had fun.

I even learned how to make chawanmushi ( after several attempts). I thank YJ for the tips on that dish’s how to.

They came up with few rounds of card games. And the losers need to stuff in one piece of sushi with a heavy squeeze of wasabi.

And guess what?

Her expression tells it all. Wasabi all the way from her mouth, then throat, then u-turn up into her nose, then down her stomach.

The reason why she lost the game was because of this.

Look at the cards and look at the people at the back with different expressions.

Oh btw, have we met the girl from next door?

This is BMW. Why? That’s her initial. No real name is exposed due to privacy protection.

And she loves to play with sharp objects.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Peace out!

Sad enough, friends are leaving Australia one by one, day by day.

This post is dedicated to Joyce and LiQian who left Brisbane months after Bing and Jerry are gone.

And here’s the story.

We had a small BBQ party at Joyce’s place in conjuction with Qian’s farewell.

The main chef – Joyce.

And the output? see below.

Looks good huh? Never thought that she’s one good cook.

I found this funny looking thing sitting on the dining table, and initially I thought it was some toy.

Guess what is it?

Hint: It’s a Dyson brand.

And last but not least, the main char of the nite.

Enjoy the weekend.

Yes, that includes me. haha~ I had a small but yet a great bday party with a bunch of crazy teens.

YH suggested a place for the party that I never been to before.

Sunnybank Hotel (and I thought, what? a party in a hotel room ah?) which apparently I was wrong.

There is a grill bar inside the hotel. And that was my order, ‘Ocean Catch’.

And of cuz, not to mention, a must in a birthday occasion, a cake.

And a group pic before heading home.

p/s: Happy birthday to all June babies once again. Jom aramaitii!
